A few weeks ago, we had the immense pleasure of holding our first ever new WPIC course, “The Art and Execution of Styled Shoots” at Vantage Venues. This is a collaborative effort put forth by some very talented and like-minded wedding professionals. We had an absolute blast working together. It really is true when they say, “Teamwork Makes the Dreamwork!”
We are featured on the WPIC blog.
There is something so magical about a downtown Toronto wedding! We were ecstatic to put together a wedding editorial in a location that really embraces the special vibe that downtown Toronto provides.
The 27th floor of Vantage Venues showcases picturesque Lake Ontario and cityscape views beautifully. Floor to ceiling windows, modern and classic decor, and photo-worthy spaces inside and out really brought our vision to life.
We steamed linens, folded napkins, lined up chairs, created our own centrepieces, as well as created a beautiful floral arch under Envision Floral Studio‘s guidance and direction.
The group put together a groom’s flat lay and a bride’s flat lay. We incorporated the stationery from The Polka Dot Paper Shop and a few fun props to make it creative. The champagne bottle had to be emptied ahead of time, so Tracey M Events took one for the team and had some wonderful Aperol Spritz’s with it during the week.
One of the highlights of the day was when the group of us went outside to get some photos on King street. The TTC drivers of not one, not two, but three streetcars literally stopped in their tracks for us and rang their bells.
The teardown has never been so easy! The floral arch was taken down, and each attendee created their own bouquet (with Kimberly) to take home from the florals in it. We were packed, folded, zipped and loaded in less than an hour.
